The most valuable baseball card of all time! (For now, anyway...)
While Honus Wagner is the "Action Comics #1 of baseball card values", this super-high grade Topps Mickey Mantle 1952 #311 card is the current record holder of the most expensive baseball card ever sold.
You'll get deja vu when you scroll down, as T206 white border Honus Wagner from 1909-1911 has appeared multiple times on the top ten baseball card values.
In ANY condition, this is a fantastic find.
Timing is everything. As you can see from the list, a lower-grade card sold for MORE.
As soon as another T206 Honus Wagner comes to market, the record for each grade will be broken again!
Half a grade below the 9.5 world record holder, and less than half the value. Nobody said collectibles are always logical!
Rumor has it there are two PSA 10s of this card in the world, so when one of those changes hands, the record may be broken again.
Not the most valuable Babe Ruth card (that would be his rookie Sporting News card from 1916), but the high grade of this Goudey #53 card made it the most expensive Babe Ruth baseball card sold so far.
If you have ANY Babe Ruth items, click to get in touch and find out what we'll pay for them!
Goldin placed this card in a private sale for nearly $4M! We've also sold lower-grade copies of this card for serious money.
By far the most modern item on this list of baseball card values.
Three more Honus Wagner T206 cards make up positions 7, 8 and 9 on the top 10.
This card may look really rough, but Goldin raised over $3.7M for the former owner!
The last T206 on this list but still a monster sale over over $3.5M!
Finishing the top 10 most valuable baseball cards is another Mickey Mantle, this time the 1951 Bowman edition in a PSA 9.
